Unqualified 2022 Audit Report for BTP

Bureau Telecommunications and Post St. Maarten (BTP) is pleased to announce the release of its FY 2022 audit report, conducted by SOAB. The report attests that BTP’s annual report has been fairly stated in all material respects in accordance with the applicable reporting framework, laws, and regulations, and affirms the accuracy and reliability of BTP's financial records.
The release of the unqualified 2022 audit report serves as a testament to BTP's dedication to financial accountability and will be shared this week with the honorable Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic and Telecommunication, Mr. Arthur Lambriex, and the supervisory board members of BTP.
Interim Director of BTP, Mrs. Judianne Labega-Hoeve stated: "we are delighted with our FY22 unqualified audit report, and I’m very proud of my financial team who worked tirelessly to meet all the deadlines and requirements. This achievement underscores our ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency. We also take much pride in the fact that we are up to date with our reporting obligation in accordance with Lv. BTP lid. 19 for presentation of the annual audited financial statements within 6 months of the year end”.
This unqualified audit report demonstrated BTP’s commitment to sound governance and accountability and solidifies their position as the trusted regulatory authority in the telecommunications and postal industry.
